Unique Tree In Mozambique

This is one great tree in Limpopo, Mozambique. It is unique tree because it is a tree which have many carvings on it. It really presents artwork of the creator of those beautiful carvings. Maybe it is the shame that alive tree was used on that way but many people still thinks that it is beautiful.

That’s a tree in Disneyworld’s Animal Kingdom theme park. It’s made of fiberglass and plastic fitted onto pieces from an old oil rig ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tree_of_Life_(Disney) ) and it’s in Florida, not Mozambique.

This isn’t from Mozambique, it’s from Disney world! It’s the tree of life in the animal kingdom. I agree that is a great work of art but please correct the facts about this so it’s not a false statement. If you don’t believe check out the URL I posted or this link here. http://www.awesomeflorida.com/images/animal-kingdom-tree-of-life-b.jpg

    Cool tree.

That said, it’s actually the “Tree of Life”, located at Disney World in Orlando, Florida (USA). It’s not an actual tree (totally artificial and build from a refitted oil platform), but an attraction and has a 3D movie based on the film “A Bug’s Life” inside.

Perhaps some people would deplore carving on a natural tree like this, but I think that this is an excellent example of the harmonious beauty that can be achieved when humanity works with the natural state of something as opposed to against it. The natural form and health is, generally, maintained on at least sufficient levels, and humanity gains as well. Perhaps in this case all that is gained is an astounding piece of art, but if one extends this idea into other realms, who knows what could result?

    July 28th, 2008 at 7:40 pm

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. that “tree” is in Disney World and isnt carved and isnt a actaully a tree at all.
is a massive fourteen story (145-foot (44 m)) tall artificial tree that has been the icon of Disney’s Animal Kingdom since it opened on April 22, 1998. Engineered from a refitted Oil platform, it is located in the center of the park. It’s leaves are made out of Kynar. On the exterior of it are carved images of three hundred twenty-five animals. Inside the Tree of Life is It’s Tough to be a Bug!, a 3-D film hosted by Flik, from A Bug’s Life. It is similar to the tree of Rafiki from The Lion King, though on a much larger scale. There is a hidden Mickey on this tree.

    RESEARCH!

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that “tree” isn’t real. It’s located at Disney in Orlando, Fl. My parents go there all the time on a season pass and I have seen NUMEROUS pictures of it from seeing it first hand.

Not only that, but honestly, do you think your going to see a shingled roof in Mozambique? (look at the last picture, in the bottom right corner).

So, sorry to burst your bubble, but you’re either a horrible liar, or you don’t research crap.

Nice picture though, i will give you that.

  • Tonya
    July 28th, 2008 at 8:24 pm

This isn’t a real tree. It’s the “Tree of Life” as Disney World, USA, a fake tree the park installed that houses a theater inside. It’s a very interesting exhibit, but it’s not a living tree.

Um… no. This isn’t even a real tree. It was constructed/built several years ago and is the centerpiece for Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Um…I stumbled upon this site so I don’t know if it’s a satirical site or not but that tree isn’t a tree at all. Its actually an oil rig covered in plastic. It is the centerpiece of Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, FL. I would know, I use to work there and saw that tree every day.

  • Not In Africa
    July 28th, 2008 at 8:38 pm

This is not in Mozambique. Nice try. Try Walt Disney World. More specifically, Animal Kingdom. It’s the Tree of Life and it has a movie theater as it heart. It’s actually an oil rig drilling platform covered in concrete.

Very nice, however, I can’t help thinking whether it would have been more impressive to see the tree for it’s sheer bulk and without the carvings.

This is not a real tree, and it is not in Mozambique. It is a fiberglass structure called the Tree of Life, located in the Animal Kingdom exhibit at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Either you are trying to deceive people, or you have been deceived. Either way, you should correct this page.
