I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that their kids will be geeks.

…. and they will probably have both trilogies memorized by age 7.

I don’t think its too weird to have a Star Wars wedding, but as Admiral Akbar??

    Now, *that* was brilliantly disturbing…

That first picture, all I can think of is “It’s a trap!”

Why? Isn’t the StarWars thing old and played out at this point? Might be time for a new hobby guys.

The only thing I could think was “Why does Ackbar have a lightsaber? He’s not a Jedi.”

Why did no one come as Luke, Han, or Lando?

Some of the costumes are a bit lame as well. Could’ve tried harded.

    how intriguing!

Admiral Akbar didn’t have a light saber… lame!

“Please be aware that as much as we would love to have you attend our wedding, you’re only going to be permitted in if you are dressed in appropriate attire for a ‘Star Wars’ themed wedding.”

I’m sure that (or something similar) was on their invitations.

And, yeah…all right, I could understand being geeky enough to want a “Star Wars” themed wedding; what I don’t understand is why the (presumably groom) is dressed up as Admiral Ackbar? Unless (and this is my guess), the theme was her idea, and he didn’t want to be recognized in the pictures in the future.

This is awesome. Anyone who would come up with this theme and have their guests actually follow it, has some great friends. Great job with the costumes even if some of them are very cheap. That’s ok, not everyone has money.
